Bloggers Recognition Award

Hi readers!
I got nominated by Dammy of Life of Dammy for the Bloggers Recognition Award and you bet I’m grateful. The rules are simple:
image
1. Write a post to show the award
(Here it is!!!)
2. Acknowledge the blogger who I nominated you.
3. Give a brief story about how you started blogging
4. Say 10 random facts about yourself (This isn’t actually a rule but y’all know how I like to switch things up just a little bit😁)
5. Give 5 pieces of advice for new bloggers (It actually said 2 but I figured why stop at that?)
6. Nominate 15 deserving bloggers
So here goes…
2. Acknowledge the blogger who nominated you.
Dammy, if I could thank you everyday for all that you have done for me, I would. Trust me, I don’t take what you’ve done for granted; there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t appreciate you. Thank you for nominating me and I wish you all the best.
3. Give a brief story about how you started blogging
As a self acclaimed ambivert, I have always had a lot of things to say and more than enough people to say these things to. That doesn’t mean that I always said the right things to the right people though. I sure wasn’t saying the things that mattered; so when I started writing two months ago, I became greedy. I decided to tell my story to the whole world. Gradually, I stopped talking so much about the things that don’t matter.
4. Say 10 random facts about yourself
i. I dunno my height (as in feet and inches).
ii. I have been on a no sugar diet for months now; because I read somewhere that sugar makes a lady’s kitty smell funny.
iii. I drink a lot of cranberry juice because I read in the same piece that it helps to cleanse the nether regions and apparently, you taste like what you eat and drink;).
iv. I eat a shitload of boiled groundnuts everyday.
v. I wear XL children clothes.
vi. I’m obsessed with black underwear.
vii. I’m still trying to stop sucking my thumb.
viii. I’m still half convinced that I’m bi.
ix. No, a threesome is not in the books for me. Thank you.
x. I wish I could be a registered nudist. I hate wearing clothes!
5. Give 5 pieces of advice for new bloggers
i. Don’t feel pressured to post every thirty seconds – save it for when you have something to say. That said, try to be consistent – once a week, once a day, one a month around the same time – whatever. Consistency = people coming back.
ii. Blogging is time consuming and there is no way around that; spend time on your posts so that readers get what they deserve. Quality over quantity.
iii. Let your personality shine through. Let your readers build a connection with YOU while they read your content.
iv. Write content that YOU would want to read. Avoid the painstakingly obvious. You’ll never please everyone but really, put effort into being creative.
v. Lastly, HAVE FUN! If you aren’t enjoying blogging and it becomes a chore, stop. Blogging should be fun, and it will show through in your posts.
6. Nominate 15 deserving bloggers
Life of Dammy – Simply because she’s amazing
Jamie’s Blog – That cute boy with a literary sweet tongue
The X – The anonymous literary genius that takes his punctuation seriously
Ire Wryts – The story teller
Gina’s Blog – So full of life and vigor
Temi Mercy – My baby just started a few days ago but I know she’ll make me proud.
Spudbudette – The one that understands my pain.
Amazing Moyo – You are truly amazing
Elan Murdow – Dare I perspire? 😂
This Oath of Love – I’m a hopeless romantic so I couldn’t help it. Jk, your posts are wonderful, Lizzy.
The Fate Blog – I’m so jealous of your recent achievement of 100 followers.
Eniola Dunni – Short black girl that recently discovered the craziness that is makeup.
Kurly Curls – I love me a good natural haired beauty and Busola sure is one.
If you’re wondering why there are 13 bloggers instead of 15, it’s 3:14 am here in Ibadan, Nigeria and the wrist on my right hand is about to shut down from the stress of typing on my phone when I should be reading Hannah Kristin’s The Nightingale. So from here on, I’m doing an open tag for all the bloggers out there. You’re all deserving too!
Thanks again Dammy, for the award (It’s no longer a nomination ’cause I accept).

Thanks for stopping by. If this is your first time visiting this blog, please come back. And tell a friend to tell a friend to visit. Also, don’t forget to follow, like and comment. Thanks ❤.

mmmhh… very honest there. Half-convinced bi, anti-threesome and an overwhelming lover of things that have to do with down there hmmm. Found this interesting.
