Hello readers,
Happy Sunday!
I hope you’re all having a good day and this post meets you in impeccable health.
I’ll like to start this post by explaining what an acrostic poem is; An acrostic poem is a type of poetry where the first, last or other letters in a line spell out a particular word or phrase. The most common and simple corn of an acrostic poem is where the first letters of each line spell out the word or phrase.
I like writing acrostic poems because of how much thought goes into and how much fun I always end up having.
I have written three of such poems, one being The Girl You Forgot About, and I’d like to share another one with you today.
Enjoy!
1: Foreplay
Fingers languidly parting the moist curtains,
Opening up to reveal pure pink velvet,
Raised voices and fastening heartbeats,
Eyes meeting briefly and hunger revealed;
Perhaps that was when it became apparent that
Love’s feast called us to that moment
And greedily we drank the wine of our lusts-
Yummy and oh so intoxicating.
